Disability Support Worker – Wedderburn & Inglewood

CareChoice provide 24 hour support making a variety of different shifts available, including mornings, afternoons, active nights, sleepovers and weekends. The Role: We are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers in the Bendigo region including Inglewood and Wedderburn areas, to work with our clients providing community access support.Your tasks may include but not be limited to the following: Home/domestic care Basic Personal Care/Prompting Behavioural management Assisted social outings Build a rapport and actively engage with clients Support Worker Profile: If you are a passionate, experienced support worker who wants work/life balance while making a real difference in someone’s life, then we have a place for you at Carechoice.. Minimum requirements for this role include: Previous experience in a similar role Previous experience in Challenging Behaviours A clear and current police check obtained within the last six months A current First aid – Within 3 years CPR certificate – Within 12 months A current Working With Children Check (Victorian) An international police check (where applicable) A current drivers licence Ability to engage and build rapport with clients Certificate IV in Disability, Certificate III in aged care or equivalent is highly desirable but not essential AUD Australia - VIC Bendigo, Goldfields & Macedon Ranges Bendigo 3550
