We focus on providing the right person, on time, every time so that our clients can rely on us to achieve their goals.The Role:We have clients with complex support needs, requiring quality care for their individual programs in the Western and Northern Suburbs. As a Disability Support Worker, you will have experience working with clients who have Challenging Behaviours/Behaviours of Concern and clients with Autism. Your tasks may include but not be limited to the following:Home/domestic assistance Cooking/Meal PrepPersonal careAssisted Social Outings - applicants must have a car and licenceAfter School CareBehavioural Management (set boundaries)Build rapport and actively engage with clientMedication AdministrationSupport Worker Profile: If you are a passionate, experienced support worker who wants work/life balance while making a real difference in someone’s life, then we have a place for you at Carechoice.Minimum requirements for this role include:Certificate IV in Disability, or other relevant qualification is essentialPrevious experience in a similar rolePrevious experience with Challenging BehavioursA clear and current police check obtained within the last 6 monthsA current First Aid Level II certificate – Within 3 yearsCPR certificate – Within 12 monthsA current Working With Children Check (Victorian)An international police check (where applicable)A current drivers licence and reliable vehicleAbility to engage and build rapport with clients AUD Australia - VIC Melbourne - All locations Northern Suburbs Reservoir 3073
