The Company CareChoice is a specialist provider of experienced support staff in disability and complex care. CareChoice provides 24 hour support making a variety of different shifts available, including mornings, afternoons, active nights, sleepovers and weekends. We focus on providing the right person, on time, every time to contribute towards our clients achieving their goals.The Role: We have clients with complex support needs, requiring quality care for their individual programs in Shepparton. As a Disability Support Worker, you will have experience working with clients living with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism and Behaviour's of Concern.Initially the shifts will be Mondays and Tuesdays, 3pm - 10pm and an active night from 10pm - 6am until May 2021. More shifts will be introduced once the right support workers are identified.  Your tasks may include but not be limited to the following:Behavioural management (physical and verbal aggression & sexualised)Coordinate and implement social outingsAssist clients who are subject to court orderBuild rapport and actively engage with client (set boundaries)Essential requirements for this role include:Formal training in Forensic Disability or other relevent field and experience working with clients who have an offending backgroundPrevious experience working with Challenging Behaviours including aggression and sexualised behavioursAn understanding of Autism and Intellectual DisabilitiesMandatory Documentation:Willing to obtain a new National Police Check at the time of your recruitment processA current First Aid Level II Certificate - inclusive of CPRA current EMPLOYEE Working With Children Check (Victorian)An International Police Check (where applicable)The ability to pass a DWES registry check 25 AUD Australia - VIC Shepparton & Goulburn Valley

The Role:
We have clients with complex support needs, requiring quality care for their individual programs in Shepparton. As a Disability Support Worker, you will have experience working with clients living with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism and Behaviour's of Concern.

Essential requirements for this role include:

Mandatory Documentation:

  • Willing to obtain a new National Police Check at the time of your recruitment process
