You’ll be responsible for providing quality services and safeguards to our Participants with an emphasis on skill and capacity building to encourage independence and confidence for meaningful and active inclusion in society.A day in the life as a Disability Support Worker with CareChoice, may see you supporting our Participant with:Building on individual strengths and enabling Participants to reach their goals.24-hour complex supportsSupported Independent livingCommunity access and transportDomestic and Personal careThe hours of work vary and include weekday shifts, evening, and weekend shifts. Penalty rates apply on weekends, Public Holidays, after 8pm and after 12 pm.About youAs a passionate, reliable, and motivating Disability Support Worker, you’ll have experience with or learn to provide quality care services, implementing behavioural strategy supports and building rapport with Participants. Ideally, you’ll have a:Covid 19 Digital Vaccination Certificate or Immunisation StatementNDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to completeCurrent First Aid & CPR Certificate.Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent OR minimum 12 months experienceValid Driver’s Licence with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle (desirable)Working With Children Check - Employment or willingness to completeNDIS Worker Orientation moduleThe legal right to work in AustraliaExcellent communication skillsA genuine interest in the wellbeing & inclusion of people with disabilitiesAttention to detail and accuracy in record managementTo APPLYIf this sounds like the ideal role for you and you have the skills we’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you.
